Whew, so much has changed in the world since my last blog post, like our new Molekule Air Mini Purifier. I hope that you all are doing as best as you can and social distancing as much as possible. We should all be doing our part to help flatten the curve. My husband and myself have been fortunate in that we are both working from home. Technically, I’m schooling, but let’s not deal with the semantics of that right now. Muffin’s school is also closed, like many of the others around the country, so she has been home with us! We have all been making the necessary adjustments to make the best of this situation very unique COVID-19 situation!

Allow me to introduce you..

I just wanted to write a quick post about this new product that we recently brought into the house called the Molekule Air Mini Purifier! What is that? Let me tell you! Molekule is an air purification device that was created with proprietary technology based on over two DECADES worth of the research. This device uses PECO; this stands for Photo Electrochemical Oxidation. It is an innovative technology that uses free radicals to break down pollutants at the molecular level. “Pollutant” includes, but is not limited to bacteria, mold, viruses, and allergens. Surely, I don’t need to remind you all that it’s allergy season.

How Molekule works

Steps to Clean Air

Step 1 – 360 DEGREE AIR INTAKE: Molekule takes in air from every angle

Two – AIR CIRCULATES THROUGH HIGH EFFICIENCY OUTER FILTER: larger particles like dust and dander are trapped, and airborne chemicals are slowed down while passing through.

Tres – PECO PROCESS: Layers of a nanoparticle-coated filter react to light, breaking down pollutants into their basic components, leaving clean air.

Step 4 – PURE AIR: Molekule releases harmless molecules that are meant to be in the air, reducing the presence of pollutants

Well, we had a hard time deciding where to put it because the mini is designed for smaller rooms such as a kids room or a home office (up to 250 sq. ft.) We decided to put it in our 3rd bedroom because that is where our ferret lives. While she is the sweetest girl in the world, her poops can be pretty stinky! Ferrets have been in my life for years now. She is by the far the least stinky ferret ever, but there is no comparison between a room with a ferret to one without. Also, my family and I spend a lot of time in this room together because it’s different from our respective rooms. I think it’s safe to say that we all definitely noticed the difference! I mean, just look how happy Muffin and I are just playing her new game!

So I KNOW that you guys want to know, how is it?!

Within a couple of hours, the air quality in the room had improved so much! It finally smells like a normal room now! I can imagine that may not mean much to y’all, but anybody who has ever been around a ferret can testify to the ginormous difference! Our mini has 5 fan speeds, with the first few being so quiet that you don’t notice it’s on. We just keep ours on the lowest setting and that is more than enough to reap the benefits. With average usage, the PECO filter that comes with it should last 6 months. We should have a while before we have to invest any more money into our Molekule Air Mini Purifier! An added bonus, the entire device is energy efficient; so I don’t have to worry about it on all the time.

There is one button on the device. Right there. Where my index finger is. I know you couldn’t see it because my index finger was there; so you’re welcome.

“Where can I find one??”

Now, I know I’ve hyped this product us, so let’s talk numbers. Like most great things in life, this product is an investment. Right now the price tag is a whopping $399 on Amazon ( ⬅ Click here!). Yikes! I know, BUT to remove unwanted pollutants that you can’t see to fight to lead to an improvement of air quality in your home, I think that THAT is totally worth it. Keep down allergens during allergy season! Breathe your best air! All those things. Don’t let me influence you though, you can always live vicariously through us!

Anyway, thank you for listening to me rant about our newest device! If you haven’t already, check out our last blog post or take a leisurely scroll through our Instagram or Facebook. Just for funsies!
